Call for Papers and Abstracts

Background

We invite prospective authors to submit their original technical work on topics in the broader areas of image processing, vision, and imaging, covering theory, methods, systems, and applications. Format: up to 5 pages + 1 page of only references (see Author Kit)

Camera-ready paper due May 13, 2026

Extended manuscripts can be submitted to IEEE SPS Journals (see information for authors “Conference to Journal Papers”)
Top papers of exceptional maturity and/or novelty will be spotlighted at the conference and awarded expedite review of their extensions submitted to the IEEE Transactions on Image Processing or IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging.

Authors of every accepted paper or abstract have the additional opportunity to demo their work in the Show & Tell session at the conference.

Requests for demos due July 1, 2026.
Please note, demos cannot be presented without at least a one page abstract. So please observe the corresponding submission deadlines.


Every accepted paper or abstract shall be covered by at least one registration at the full member/non-member rate. Each full registration can cover up to four papers or abstracts.

Please note that IEEE ICIP enforces a strict no-show policy. Any accepted paper or abstract included in the final program is expected to have at least one author or qualified proxy attend and present it at the conference, otherwise it will not be published by IEEE on IEEE Xplore or other public access forums.
